International Exhibit of Photographic Arts in Paris, France
Opening on Earth Day 2017, I am honored to announce that selected images of my photography will are on exhibit in The Optic Soul at La Galerie Négatif Plus, 100-106-108 Rue la Fayette, 75010 Paris, France.
Curator of The Optic Soul, Lyza Sahertian defines the exhibition as … “What I try to show & communicate with the public is what we see within...the artists show what is their vision..."The Optic Soul".
My photographs that were chosen to best represent the theme for The Optic Soul are 3 images taken at the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico: “Graphic Sand”, “Morning Moon” and “Sand Totem”.
Of the 3 photographs, the Sand Totem was the première image that started my journey in to the genre of fine art photography. A lone yucca stands on the edge of a sand dune with clouds and mountains in the background. What a compelling scene this was to come across in the vastness of the desert.
During my sojourn at White Sands, I also was drawn to the graphic
designs of wind on the sand dunes and coming upon the early morning
solitude of the moon just about to set behind a towering dune.
The Optic Soul exhibition of eleven international artists and photographers will run from April 19 to May 2, 2017.
If you happen to be in Paris, France during the days from 19 April to 2 May stop by La Galerie Négatif Plus for the artist visions in The Optic Soul.
What
an exciting and interesting photo-adventure this day has been. I love
it when I am drawn to an area and not knowing what to expect I get
treated to new experiences.

Photography places me in the moment where I can share that moment in time. It becomes a life story as represented by my interaction with the scene. The happiness and beauty or the sorrow and strife; how I focus leaves a lasting impression that might touch the viewer on a spiritual level.
